If true then she needs to be charged for statutory RAPE. That's way illegal in California where the act was said to have taken place.

Perhaps no one has actually filed a complaint with the police yet. According to this anyone can file the complaint. What is not so clear to me is if anyone connected to the lawsuit has a duty to report it.

Kind of seems dumb if she is lying because what she is asking for will prove beyond a doubt whether or not he is the father. She can't really be expecting a payoff, when a quick DNA test will show if she is lying.

Maybe she is just hoping to meet him or something stupid. He shouldn't have to deal with it but if he did the DNA test and he is not the father, end of story. If he is the father, or he even admits they had sex, she should get charged with statutory rape.
