This isn't a rights issue. From what I hear, though, feminism is the big tent for universal human rights and compassion. I haven't heard anything coming out of the subreddits here regarding some sort of aid effort for this guy, and I would guess that if your premise wasn't a complete pile of shit, you would have some issue with that as well.

That surgery does not cost $1 million, and he should have gone to the emergency room to take care of it when it was only soccer-ball sized. He's just trying to get more money using empathy, like any other sideshow freak who uses their body for money.
