I don't owe anyone anything. I want to finish up college, find a job and work hard so I will be able to spend time with friends and family and pursue my interests.

It is downright perverse to call on productive young people who are passionate about things to "grow up". If you are constantly crying and issuing demands at a group you have no claim on, I think you are the one who needs to grow up.

So women are having trouble calling themselves victims, they can't blame the patriarchy because that's working for them and men are somehow happy with their "failures". All that, while women are frustrated looking for "the perfect" man that they've read about or watched on TV their entire lives. Boy, I can't imagine how frustrated they must feel.

Feels good brah.

And I can only imagine the outrage if men started writing articles and news stations started doing interviews about "Where have all the women worth marrying gone?".

I stopped reading when I read the word 'patriarchy' in the first sentence.

Also, I don't love Penny Nance, but I still want her to grow up.

This article makes me think of two harpies arguing over how men are to serve them.

Fuck that. Do your own thing. Invest in yourself. Build your body, mind and confidence.

And let the harpies suffer in their own vomit. You don't owe them a damn thing.

On the positive side, at least Penny Nance did base some of her argument on the importance of fathers in the family. That's a lot more male friendly than those who argue that fathers are dispensable.
