I get shit test from my older brother all the time now when we meet up in front of family or wherever other people are. Once I took on RP principles and then actually found TRP his shit test have been nonstop. I usually AA, STFU or make a joke about him being a farmer boy. The crab bucket mentality is real and the more you improve yourself the more it will show.

The mechanics behind it are the same: If they say jump and you ask "how high?, you did it wrong. There's no single way of doing it right. Do whatever fits your personality - if you have one.

No way, men fuck with each other all the time. Just be friendly and banter. It’s a test from when tribalism was a thing. Men want to be in strong groups and toughen each other up. Woman want to control the man or make him jump through hoops. Males can bond from shit testing each other but I guess it depends on the context. Bullying isn’t cool and that’s not a shit test but it still goes back to my original statement.

Edit: big problem with trp is once men start implementing it, you change the social hierarchy of your groups as you climb the ladder. People will challenge you, no one likes to get passed and put lower

Another reason why nice guys and weak men get no sympathy. People like to be reminded they are not the lowest of the totem pole
