I eat out everyday, twice a day. I am lucky enough that my city has plenty of healthy, cheap eating options, for $20 a day I can get solid meals twice a day. It has really helped me achieve the goal of clean bulking, no joke. On the flip side, cooking at home has felt more expensive, considering my calorie and protein intake is high.

Question is: How to achieve that less than $20 a day efficiency by cooking my own meals? Am i missing something? How is eating out turning out to be cheaper? I've done the math, added every single number from my bank statement, months of data. Wtf?

EDIT: Should've mentioned my stats, 161 lbs, 5'11", 23 yo

Update: Thanks for the response everyone, love all the ideas, I'm going to try them out. Going to keep it simple, I think cooking at home was expensive because I wasn't buying my groceries efficiently.
