My dad's a pediatrician, and I used to follow him on rounds when I was younger. I remember seeing a girl who had just turned thirteen and had also just had a baby. The girl was sleeping, and her mom's boyfriend was very creepily curled next to her on the bed. The girl had refused to list a father, but the nurses in the ward were all pretty sure it was that guy. Moms' boyfriends seem to cause 75% of the violent and sexual abuse I hear of in the news.
