Just so you know, not everyone involved with r/masculism is a proponent of nswatm, and no one that I have seen so far has jumped up to defend manboobz. They are trying very hard over there to be accepted by men's rights, and want it to be an open community with no censorship, with 100% MRA mods, no feminists. They are willing to denounce manboobz, not only in the subreddit, but to try to convince nswatm to distance themselves from him as well. They DO NOT support againstmensrights, and in fact, that is one of the main reasons they are making a new subreddit, because they want to get away from the petty hate and cross posts and downvote brigades that seem to dominate men's rights these days. They feel like that detracts from the true goal, which is gender equality (which, oddly enough, I have yet to see anyone define, seems to be different for everyone).

In any case, I am still a member over there, and will continue to post here as well. I want to see more what happens with it before I decide whether it will become a feminist shill. All I know is that godlessaltruist is the creator, and everything I have seen him post has been reasonable. He is not sympathetic towards feminists who are not equality minded, but he does want to include equality minded feminists as allies. I don't think that is necessarily a crime. We will just have to see how thinks shake up. I think it will help having no feminist mods, just MRA mods.

Oh man, and I have to add this, it resonated so well with me, the best part IMO about the AVFM article linked to in the OP:

Serious injury as a result of DV represents a very small portion of DV victims, with the majority being female. But DV that does not result in physical injury does not equate to DV that has no consequences. Indeed, the consequences of “non injurious” DV, the kind that occurs with gender symmetry, can be harmful enough to the adult victim, but catastrophic for children who, due to gender politics, become collateral damage.

Children and teenagers who witness violence at home are at significantly greater risk of emotional, social, behavioral and academic difficulties. They are also at much more risk of being abused by the offending parent. Children are negatively impacted by the role modeling of parents who use violence in problem solving and tend to end up either being either violent or abused as adults themselves.

Children who experience early school failure, conduct difficulties, social withdrawal and other similar problems are much more likely to continue a pattern of dysfunctional behavior, which can lead to drug use, truancy, teen pregnancy and criminality.

None of this is contingent on whether the violence they witness is physically injurious.

I agree with this 100%. My mother was physically, verbally, and emotionally abusive to every man I've seen her be in a relationship with, and to me. However, I don't think she ever caused any injuries on a man, or on me, which were reported. I think that men are far less likely to report actual injury even if they sustain it, because of the stigma about men being beat by women. Just because she didn't cause any visible damage or that damage was not reported DOES NOT MEAN that the DV didn't negatively affect me as the child and the men who were in relationships with her. In fact, one could claim that I am actually the perpetrator of violent abuse against my mother, because one time when she was hitting me repeatedly while driving a car, I attempted to block her repeated strikes, and ended up accidentally breaking her pinky finger. I caused injury to her in self defence, if we were in a relationship it would look like I was guilty of the far worse level of domestic violence by David's logic, because I caused injury, even though I have NEVER started a physical confrontation with my mother, only defended myself from them.

How are we supposed to know about r/masculinism or r/masculism since it is a private sub???

I know that r/AMR links to NSWATM and that bot have connections to manboobz and I know that the guy, doctormindbeam, who helped create NSWATM is the one who claimed the dead r/masculinism and r/masculism subs.
