Actually, he raped her. Since she had drunk alcohol, SHE was unable to consent. That boy needs to be tried for rape, the dirty criminal knew EXACTLY what he was doing. That poor woman is the real victim here. /sad reality

Downvoted. Sexual assault is rape. Most jurisdictions I'm aware of (Colorado and Wisconsin included) do not use the term "rape" in their statutes.

So, for instance, in Colorado first degree sexual assault is what we would commonly call "violent rape". AFAIK the U.K uses a similar naming convention.

Don't confuse "not using the colloquial term" with "OMG, lesser offense". The legal designations for things are often at odds with their common meaning. For instance, "burglary" is the breaking and entering, with intent to commit a felony therein, not the actual theft.
