No, the usage of “faggot” here is implying that you are weak, ineffectual, sycophantic, approval seeking suck-holes.

Even if you accept that the word "faggot" has multiple meanings and at least one of them is harmless, it seems like the best policy would be to avoid it. There are other ways to communicate the harmless sense that don't give potential ammunition to your enemies.
