Very interesting episode.

SPOILERS

The male character is almost universally pitied by the legal professionals. There are some characters that have more 'old-fashioned' views and this is used to lead to interesting discussions on various topics: Does an erection mean consent? If someone has a questionable profession can they be raped? Can women rape because they can't necessarily penetrate like a man?

It ends with the jury doubting the actual rape charge, but the rapist getting found out for murder too. The rapist is definitely shown as a bad egg.

The overall theme seems to be men can be raped too, there are people who believe in true equality but they're fighting against a biased system and a biased public.

How did the episode conclude? I know people wouldn't pity a male rapist.

It was also interesting that the "ballbusting" friend talking about male dominance ended up being a rapist (assuming she was one of the girls at the party). A lot of the ones who talk non stop about power (feminists) are obsessed about it themselves.

I remember there being an old episode where a woman was accusing some rich guy of rape. The police eventually found out that the woman had a history of accusing rich guys of rape. As you can imagine nothing happened to her and after that they ignored the issue.
