tl;dr version: if you password protect your router and someone cracks it you'll have a much harder time arguing that it wasn't you that downloaded that child porn.

Kind of makes me glad I have my network set both to require a password and the proper hardware address.

i have my hidden , i have to admit the thoughts have crossed my mind of the risks of this and i refuse point blank to leave myself at risk, its something everyone on here should be aware of .
