This is not true.

When a man is violent, it's evidence of the Patriarchy's systemic oppression of women. If a woman is violent, it's an isolated incident and should be treated in a vacuum. because, um, women use vacuums more than men. because of the patriarchy's systemic oppression of women.

No, his story hit the headlines because he is a famous footballer. Something he acknowledged a few sentences earlier, but which seems at this point to have slipped her mind. Tiger Woods is a famous sportsman too, isn't he? Good job his wife didn't assault him with a golf club or the Men's Rights Movement would have another 'isolated incident' to whine about.

Stories like those of Marshall and the Duke Lacrosse rape case will distract us.

Yes, men dying or having their reputations and lives destroyed is nothing more than a distraction. And then feminists wonder why men just don't 'get' their politics, when in reality this kind of statement is a perfect example of why men have given too much time and consideration to their views.

That athletes are sometimes involved in cases of violence is nothing new. Marshall wasn’t the first and probably won’t be the last

WAIT A MINUTE! You just said this story was an isolated incident! Did you even read your own article? Also, are you suggesting that it's only athletes who are assaulted by their female partners? Really?

Hahaha awesome. I really only read up to that part (who really wants to read a feminist ranting for even half as long as that article) - but I love how feminists are having to play defense against MRA's now.

They've learned they have to at least try to craft their arguments now instead of just assuming they can hammer through whatever they like.

He blames the victim. Furthermore, people might take his argument more seriously if the mainstream feminist movement hadn't embraced hyper-inflated domestic violence and rape numbers. People just dismiss these baffons because they are either cult like ideologues, or liars.
