It makes you wonder just how delusional they really are. Unless it's plainly obvious that the story is fake, the cops will always investigate it. However, when they find no evidence they will not pursue it any further.

And if you have no lead to give, then they can't investigate it either. That is all there is to it really.

If feminists are worried about potential victims not coming forward if false rape accusers get charged then what about the potential victims that could exist because a woman decides not to come forward, she is potentially putting her " sisters" at risk from the most horrific crime possible, admittedly this is theoretical , however so is the potential victims not coming forward because a liar is punished.
