That can't be right. The study must not take into account the inherent value of that extra special specialness in vaginal form, which surely is worth at least a 25% premium. Thus, there is a wage gap of at least 13%. Equal pay for equal work!!!

This article has a very biased tone for the agenda it is trying to portray: "ridiculous their claims that our economy is ruled by a sexist patriarchy". Right at the beginning I am questioning the articles credibility and motives.

"women are increasingly productive workers" brings up the issue that effort should be a reflection of one's salary, and that is not always the case. This quote is also saying that there was never a real wage gap to begin with, and that the wage gaps were previously based off of the effort that women were not putting forth.

I would also like to point out that the study only takes into account educated, unmarried, childless, young women. It is a very narrow category. What about the married women, or individuals with children? They are not receiving equal wages as their married counterparts that also have children. So if the article is in fact correct, this very narrow category of workers may be paid equally between the genders, but that is not the case on the overall scale in which both individuals, men and women, commonly fall into.
