Huh this is a difficult one.

The woman only lied to her boyfriend not the police... yet the boyfriend was acting responsibly when he reported the lie to the police.

Ironically, had she told the police directly, the boyfriend would likely be in jail. Because the Deputy overheard her confession, they had undeniable proof that the girl was the culprit.

So I guess she cheated on him and was using the good old rape excuse for infidelity claim?
