First job out of college. I admit, I've been a lazy shit. A combination of not wanting to work in this industry as well as working in a the field in a remote location. This job simply isn't for me.

I've been wanting to quit for a while but my contract doesn't end till June 1st. If I quit before then I'll have to pay back the $7k sign on bonus. If I leave after that I don't have to pay it back. If I get fired, I also don't have to pay and I might be eligible for unemployment.

Should I quit now and save myself the embarassment of being fired or should I try to ride it out till June? I am looking for another job as we speak but with a CHEME degree the market is looking below average.

Any advice would help. (Obviously not being lazy is number one, Motivation and drive through meditation and goal setting is my number 1 priority right now)
