When he made a formal complaint, he said his manager told him he ‘should be delighted’ that a woman liked him so much. And Miss Revrenna insisted she just ‘touched his back in a caring way, like a mother or grandmother’.

I hope she doesn't have children cause that is gross man.

This is a woman who grew up in a different era. What I think it demonstrates is that in the past, men and women interacted in a playful tactile way without thinking any harm has been done.

Thanks to 50 years of feminism, that playful interaction has been wholly misrepresented as the male abuse of women, and of course now, few men in few jobs would even dare think of having any tiny degree of physical contact with a female colleague. And the result is that now men have started behaving as women have been taught to in these situations.

There's something sad in that we can't behave as adults in this way anymore. That we can no longer see the difference between playfulness and real bullying, intimidation and harassment. And also that it's the first instinct to sue rather than to just ask the individual to stop.
