Ok. That makes a bit more sense.

I don't really know what to make of TGMP. It seems like female appropriation of male rights and masculinity. We don't need to be fixed by people who want to tell us what our problems are instead of listening to us. That said I thought this was one of the better articles.

Are you really the 'requisite woman on staff'???

I don't understand why on a mag site devoted to men I have hear more about male feminist allies or more from women about dysfunctional males than anything from a actual dysfunctional males experience.

As a bonafide dysfunctional or deliquent male I will answer your questions.

Does this idea hurt men and boys. yes and no. I don't think the Mrs. Robinson fantasy hurts boys. I think predatory older women who can't fuck guys they own age or older(as most women seem to want) go after smaller boys to either have power over them or use them or to enact their own abuses out on or all of the above. The problem isn't porn or fantasy directed at women or at teen boys, the problem is how on a evolutionary basis women choose and males compete. While women do compete for mate they don't compete in the same ways as men. When women, especially much older women go after younger boys they are robbing those boys of healthy sexual outlets and experiences and are robbing them of their reproductive potential.

I have known too many guys to become fathers in HS or even middle school. Some were in the situations because of older women and some it was because of baby crazy 16 yr olds. Either way their lives are reduced in the reproductive potential and economic potential.

You will see guys come on this board, like every time a story like this is posted, and claim that it was great for them. The truth is that most simply couldn't get a hot girl in HS cause they were near or at the bottom of the female created male selected hierarchy. Similiar to the 20 yr old + guys who got out of HS and hung around the back gates hoping to hit on freshman girls.

I do agree that it doesn't fuck up all boys but that seems true or even more true with girls. Infact I have known a lot of girls who weren't victims but actively sought out guys older than 18 when they were in HS. That to me seems to be the difference. How many of these boys are entrapping older women with fake ids?

I agree that some boys may not be harmed. We all do mature at different rates. I was recently talking to a guy who was about 35 and a carpenter and a hard working family man. To my surprise he told me he wasn't always like that and that at one day he woke up and realized that he was no longer a kid and had to grow up. He said he was 33 and it hit him like a ton of bricks that he wasn't taking care of his family and responsibilities. Now that may be a extreme example but the truth is guys differ at much greater rates than women. Especially in maturity. Women and girls mature faster at all levels than men do. How should that affect our moral thoughts on older v. younger sex between people?

I tend to have a different view from some here. As a teen I had several encounters with much older women and not all were bad. But the difference was in the women and how they acted. Then I also knew some guys who had similiar experiences and it really fucked them up. Some teen guy bragging, like the women around him have taught him to do, about banging a older woman like this and then spending their nights and weekends drinking and druggin their lives away don't seem credible to me. There are some guys that mature faster, especially physically(not necessarily emotionally or psychologically), and are growing thick beards and look older than they are. Then there are some guys who end up being able to grow their first beard at 25. In my experience it's rarely the older, more physically mature, guys that are being seduced by older women. It's usually the baby faced guys cause the older looking more masculine guys can get girls his own age. But those are my thoughts on the topic.

TLDR: It's not the boyish fantasy that's the problem but instead the women/predators that buy into it and act it out.

Thanks for your thorough response! I agree with you to some degree. Of course, the women involved are responsible (and in most cases at fault) for their actions---that's not even a question.

My concern is that once the sexual assault has been committed, male victims are given mixed messages by society about how they're supposed to feel about it. Regardless of their actual sexual experience---positive or negative---the overriding sentiment is that they should appreciate the attention when in fact, it could be a scarring experience. This confusion and social pressure could also keep many victims from coming forward.

In short: Yes, the predators are at fault but media and society are, at our worst, co-conspirators.

yes ok, i realize some of these are in fact legit cases. But you can't really use double standards argument when men and women are not the same.

At 14, anything that didn't fall too far below my standards I would fuck the shit out of. At 14, my sister was not the same.

I fucking despise feminists, but we can be honest about this. In many cases the male was bragging to his classmates about how he is tapping an older piece of ass and that is how the woman gets caught. He doesn't go crying to the authorities, he is giving his friends high fives.

Sorry but a 14 year old guy getting a piece of ass from a 30 year old woman is not the same thing as a 30 year old man fucking a 14 year old girl.

People like to believe men and women are the same and equal in every aspect and all this other politically correct garbage. It's simply not true.

I can't speak for 14 year old girls, but I can speak for 14 year old boys, and if you get a chance to tap some older ass (not being physically raped), then more power to you, I don't see a crime there at all.

Well then it all boils down to what age you are considered a "kid". I've seen other 14 year olds when I was that age who were still playing fucking pokemon and collecting action figures. I was out late all the time partying, drinking, and smoking weed. At 14 I did not consider myself a kid at all, but an adult. Which is an entire other issue. Some kids mature MUCH faster than others.

By the way, I slept with a girl who was 20, not 35. And I would like to know how exactly I was "used"? Instead of sleeping with another 14 year old who didn't know how to do anything, I was sleeping with an experience woman, who was good at sex. She was also able to get beer and pot for me, as well as buy me clothes and drive me and my friends around. I'm not sure what she actually "used" me for at all.

There are 14 year old men, and there are 14 year old boys, I suppose that makes the difference right there.

I tend to believe also that 14 year old girls that are sleeping with 30 year old men were sexually abused at a younger age. 14 year old men who sleep with 30 year old women just want to fuck anything in sight, as is the case with most 14 year old males.

I don't know what's up with this thread, a bunch of men that are either too jealous to too blindly enraged that they have forgotten what it was like to be a male teenager, and the overwhelming desire to hump everything in sight.

Men and women are not alike, and they are not equal, it's apples and oranges.
