ALL men's rights are included here: Black, White, Asian, Indian, Jewish, Native American, Arabic, Latino, straight, gay, bi, rich, poor, middle class, etc.

You are correct that most men, no matter what color their skin, face many of the same issues. In addition, we welcome continued discussion of the unique issues faced by Black men, especially in North America.

I'm the mod. I'm not black. Just in case you've already come across the whiterights subreddit, please know that I've got a disavowal link down in the sidebar about them:

statement regarding the whiterights subreddit - specifically stating that I do not support racism and do not wish to have /mensrights linked in their sidebar.

If anyone throws any racist crap your way, it's certainly against my request and against my desires for this subreddit.

I absolutely welcome perspectives from men from different races, traditions, and nations. You'll see links to India's mensrights movement, and Swiss and UK movements as well. What becomes problematic are attempts to subvert mensrights and advise us to do this or that, to gain the approval of feminists.

If you've got a spare two hours you can set aside for listening, you might like this but it's not required by any stretch.

the rest of the sidebar should give you a decent impression of who we are.

Black men face the same problems as every other man does now, though statistically more commonly. There's nothing specific to black men here, but on youtube you can find some black guys that talk about the specific issues of being a black man. Such as the much higher incidence of paternity fraud and how the women act.

We seem to avoid race issues, because that's not really what we're about...but there's a definite overlap in many instances (esp. when it comes to judicial bias), which would be good for us to address more directly.

Right now, the MRM seems to be overwhelmingly white (not by design, but as a byproduct of the demographics inherent to the channels of dissemination the MRM utilizes)...as such, it's more likely that issues only experienced by white men will get more attention than issues experienced only by other men...just as we'll tend to focus on issues experienced only by western men, since the MRM is predominately a western movement. But the MRM is not supposed to be a white boy's club...it's supposed to be a fight for all men; by participating, you can help bring attention to those injustices we may overlook through lack of exposure.

Anyway, welcome to r/MR...please don't let our extremists push you away.

Welcome bro. I truly think that most problems facing black men that are labeled racism are actually misandry. White women are always blaming shit on the nearest black man, especially after killing their children or cheating on their husband. I have posted some things on the issues facing black boys and men but its been awhile. Find any articles you find interesting and wish to discuss and post them.

I don't there are any different subreddits specifically for black men's rights, and really this place seems to be the right place to discuss those issues. Don't know of many stats on these issues, though. Perhaps someone can help out on those?

There was a Black British men's rights activist on YouTube called Thugtician who had more subscribers than any other mra at the time. He had his account closed when one black woman complained, and then, after he created another one, some asshole American conservative MRA tried to open up a USA Vs UK, Black Vs White war within the men's rights community. Eventually, he had enough, but you can still get hold of some of his videos if you google him.
