That article was incredibly vague. Among other things, it completely failed to mention what the prisoner was accused of ... or in fact, any specific details about the case at all.

If you want to make this a men's rights issues, you'll have to do better. Like, explaining what exactly is the injustice, and how exactly is it specifically because he is male?

Maybe the reason why the ACLU did not do anything is because the boy is back in with the general prison population already. The story is a couple of months old. Not saying that the ACLU can be a bunch of pansies when it comes to what they choose to fight.

OP might want to note that the ACLU is a private organization, receiving no funding from the government, and hence is exponentially dwarfed by the governmental apparatus it seeks to scrutinize (National ACLU revenues for 2004 were just over $85.5 million, compared to the $29.2 billion 2011 budget for the federal DOJ alone). Before you complain about what the ACLU has and hasn't done, I suggest you ask yourself how much money you have contributed to the effort.
