Did she think she was going to get a parade? You don't try to destroy an innocent man and expect your friends to keep trusting you.

Someone should also mail her a tiny violin for her suffering.

aww, poor baby. maybe she shouldnt have lied about that rape thing. I guess having friends is more important than the fact you destroyed a man's life.

It makes me happy to hear it. There need to be more sentences and more large fines to deter women from thinking this is EVER an appropriate idea.

This poor man should pursue a civil claim for damages as well. With a criminal conviction, he can prove her guilt beyond the standards of the requirements of the U.K.'s system.

I think it's important for us to realize two things.

This woman was driven to this crime by a man.
The real victims are other women whose rape claims may be harmed in future.
