You are living in a bubble if you really believe all that, and obviously you haven't learned much about the bell curve of the sexes (not genders), which surprises me. You're assuming what you'd like to be true is actually true. I am actually just basing my opinions on observations regardless of what I personally feel. The 90% is an exaggeration perhaps, but I can't see how someone could not realize more men are naturally better at videogames, driving, and engineering than women. I mean, damn, look around you. Women may be less inclined to start playing videogames, but as I'm a gamer myself, I know very well that women who do play are less likely to be any good. Throughout my years driving, I've had far more trouble with women drivers who aren't paying any attention to what they're doing or just have no idea what to do in a normal driving situation, than male drivers. And I've gone through engineering university and work as an engineer. The percentage of good women engineers is simply less than the percentage of good male engineers. That's to be expected as women have special privileges bestowed on them to become engineers. They also tend to do the easier, more tedious work but still get paid less than men. Honestly a few of the women at my work who get paid as engineers are really just secretaries with a degree and they don't have a good grasp of the technical aspects at all. They are not engineers at all, really.

I mean, it's actually quite preposterous that equal numbers of males and females would make for good engineers. That has nothing to do with being anti-woman. After all, I think at least 90% of men are bad at bearing children from their wombs. I'm merely pro-facts. Igs, you really need to stop blinding yourself because of what you want to be true. Be real, man.

You aren't pro-facts, you are anti-fact and pro-bias.

At no time did I ever say there were equal numbers of good Engineers or that there should be, I just called the guy on the bullshit, entirely fabricated statistic.

If you were pro-fact, you would do the same. It is called "citation needed".

What I said was that 90% of both genders are bad at Engineering. That doesn't just include the people who go into the field, but all people in general. Most people do not display any semblance of skill in the key traits that make a good Engineer - logic, application of theory, grasp of physical systems.

I have long been sold on the idea that the sciences are dominated by males due to the bell-curve issue, and I don't really need you spewing unfounded reasoning with strongly generalized comments about women. If you want to talk about averages, then say that. But when you say "women are..." then you are generalizing, and you are just giving feminists ammo to say "Look, these people are sexist!"
