Here's my list on why I sometimes wish I were a guy:

ability to urinate anywhere with some discretion
playing sports shirtless
no menstruation
not as much nervousness/wariness about walking alone/at night

I typically find all of these "Men have it easy/good" articles offensive. To assume that all men coast through life getting the promotions without trying or having to work as hard at what they do it silly. If this were the case then I would bring up the argument that all women simply have sex to reach the top. That always works on men right?

She seems to think she is some kind of expert on what it is like being a man. The only credential that qualifies you for this is having a penis.

To claim that we really haven't come that far in gender equality. I would like this woman to have a little more respect for her own gender and a little less envy for mine.

Time magazine recently published a list called Best 100 Novels of All Time. There were only 16 women on it. I always assumed that things would improve [..] But they haven’t. Men are still the gold standard and successful women are the deviants

Lets see, how many of these novels have been published in the last 50 years? (since feminism started for real)

As we all know, most of the art in the Louvre has been made after world war two.

Just because women are under-represented in one way doesn't mean they are inferior or being discriminated against. Now, I will commit a terrible crime against humanity by saying this; "women and men are different." You heard me. It turns out having different hormones, a different sexuality, and different evolutionary gender roles actually make a difference. This inevitably leads to women and men working differently and wanting different things.

I know, it is confusing. Women and men split 50/50 in the general population, so that must mean that everything should have 50% women and 50% men. That's not how it works though. Women are more inclined to want children, and men are more inclined to want to commit suicide. (tell me, which do you think makes a better novel?) Now, this doesn't mean that women should be in the kitchen and that men should earn the money all the time. It also doesn't work that way... All this means is that we shouldn't be surprised when it turns out that some fields have significantly more men in it. (or more women)

If people would just accept that men and women are different (but shouldn't be treated as such) then the world would be a better place.

I would have what an acute female friend called the eternal “completely unjustified self-confidence of the young, not-very-talented man” who will best you just by being himself.

We all know how insignificant the pressure is on young males to perform better and be the best all the time. That's the reason for the abundance of free and unjustified self-confidence among youth these days.

One thing that a lot of feminists miss (or refuse to acknowledge) is the probability that men ARE inherently better than women in some areas. Why do they have to deny it and try to take over our fields with their mediocrity? Because they, like us, want control. That's an area where we are likely equal.
