How is it that we allow falsely accused people's names out and NOT the false accuser's name? Derp!

Judge Neil Stewart urged the jury to see false allegations made by the girl in the past as irrelevant

While the fact she lied before is not proof she is lying again, I think it's very relevant. Many people on the jury may say, "Would she really lie about this?", and if she has done it before they know that she is capable of lying about something this serious. Also, all that's required is reasonable doubt. If the girl has lied about this sort of thing before, then I'd argue that there's reasonable doubt in this case.

Makes me a little more than unconformable that this took place a half an hour away from me.

Edit: Perfect, further reading informs me the accused lives in the same town as me.
