I think adults tend to sexualize what children do a little too much these days. Perhaps there are just too many stories on the TV or something.

I remember watching movies as a kid and then again as an adult and now I can see things there I just did not pick up on as a kid. Give yourself a break mate and dont worry about the past. What we do as kids (generally) does not mean too much as an adult...

Today you would have been on some long list of "offenders", but at least you missed that bullet.

If you do feel something inside go talk to a professional and get it out of you and move on... might be good to do that but that is your choice to make when the time is right for you...

In the UK, as far as I know, nothing would happen. We did worse as children and got caught often. We just got a slap on the wrist and told to not do it again.

We did, and it did no harm.

honestly, I'd respect and admire your mom for separating you from your sisters given the tools she had. The mooning may have not been sexual, but was more disrespectful than she wanted to handle. I don't know if she had other family to go to for advice. I suppose if I didn't, and especially if I couldn't afford to hire a counselor, I'd look to the school counselor for advice.

otoh, we (boys, 8-13) used to make cassette tapes that were full of us cursing and telling dirty jokes, and we'd trick our parents into playing them in the car. Eyes rolled; heads didn't.

except, I'd have been more alarmed about what essentially sounds like mixed-gender slumber party at dad's apartment. you, your kid sis, and your dad's girlffriends' daughter? I would have a very difficult time accepting that one. otoh, I had a step-sister too, and we usually couldn't stay in the same room together without arguing.
