Many bars in London often stop men going in without women, claiming that they are only letting in mixed sex groups. They then proceed to let groups of just girls (ie non mixed) groups enter. Two questions about anti discrimination law in the UK:

  1. Is the mixed sex groups thing legal, as it places a gender requirement on a group?
  2. If it can be proved that it is only groups of men they are stopping going in, would this then be illegal.

Note: Some people may say this issue is petty, but I think it is important for two reasons. Firstly, I feel it is really unfair I can't get into some of the best bars in London simply because I'm male. Secondly, the feminists changed the world so quickly and dramatically because they wouldn't let the little issues go.
