I find those 2 colludes by personal experience. When im with my buddies (friends of several years) i usually dont talk much but when i talk everyone listens and it will always be on point. It not that i dont have anythink to add to the conversation i just dont feel the need to but i switch conversation topics easily. When im In a group of people that i dont hang with i dont "change" my behaviour and in result im finding myself shit tested by the group a lot and also challenged at some point.I can see two options here

1)being real and expected to either be liked or hated(keeping frame of who i am)

2)adjucting my behaviour as outsider of the group and not speak my mind in "fear" i challenge the group(losing frame) im mostly introverted and thus i think the reason of not being trusted is im confortable with silence a lot. I dont want to fake but i understand that in order to become successfull in your workplace amd in any other interaction sometimes you have to hide the need of domimance
