No (at least not much) harm done, I guess. At least she did not use this to get revenge on anyone, just to cry wolf (which is bad enough). If this gets as little attention as possible, good (because more attention will invite copy-cats). And as I read it, the girl is going to get therapy for her issues. Which is good, too.

Assistant city attorney Brian Glodosky says he decided not to pursue charges because the woman had a clean record, is an honor student and because the incident was out of character for her.

Well I have a clean record and raping a girl would be out of character for me, so I should probably just go for it huh?
