So my physiotherapist (F) messed up her schedule, so I came to her place for nothing (lost about 30 minutes of my precious time).

It's definitely an error, she apologised...

I was wondering how to deal with such things (in general, this physiotherapist is no big deal, but a good RP practice), not sure what's the best behavior between:

  • No big deal (ex: "It's fine") -> You're not affected, but at the same time it shows you're ok with people messing with your life
  • Big deal (ex: "Seriously, how are you managing your schedule? I can't tolerate that...")-> You're not tolerating that shit, but it could also sound needy, passive/agressive, (in general showing emotional weakness)
  • Something in between (ex: "That made me lose 30 minutes, and I don't like it. I'd like you to be more careful" and move on) -> sounds like the best option to me, but at the same time it sounds like a conventional advice. An if that's the best option: in which direction is it best to fall ?

I'd also be interested in more general advice/theory, out of the scope of this situation (if it's more than one mistake/if it has bigger impact)
