I'm not necessarily defending anyone at this point, because the fact is we just don't know yet. But is a tragic marriage ending in a murder and then a suicide a legitimate /r/MensRights/ post? You betcha!

If someone doesn't like a post and feel they have nothing to contribute to it, then they should simply move on.

The stated desire to censor what other men think is relevant, and the attempt to narrow the scope of what we can discuss here, is something I reject every time. Usually the censors want to clean us up too, so that we don't sound so abrasive.

I think this story is going to be much more than:

This will just be another 'He said' 'She said' thing in the news and two people are dead.

I can almost guarantee that the media is going to spin this story against men.

I don't get where you see censorship... I, for one, do not see where any person told someone not to say something.

Well, they are interviewing the parents. And what I said before: there is a tragedy and parents (of the man) cannot imagine their son did something like this. Very, very few parents will be able to think of their children as brutal murderers or just violent. To his parents he was the sunny boy. As well, the parents of the woman will have a hard time thinking of her as a bitch who would pass up no opportunity to disrespect her husband. For them she will be the little girl - perfect and innocent. All I said that parents are bad - extensively bad - judges of character (as soon as we get into adulthood).

So far this is some of what we do know, beyond parental love and the idealization of their children.

Ryan Jackson was a highly successful and ambitious young businessman with a burning desire to become a famous reality TV personality. On a visit to Las Vegas he meets Jasmine Fiore [fire] and marries her a month later. The marriage goes bad almost instantly, but he is apparently obsessed and unable to extricate himself. We don't yet fully understand what the nature of the obsession was.

He apparently murdered her, removing all her fingers and teeth! She was identified through the serial numbers on her breast implants. The police start looking for him and he disappears. The next thing we hear is that he has committed suicide in an Hotel in B.C. Canada.

As I have said earlier we need to be awake to what the media will do with this story.

As to the attempt to censor what gets discussed here it is the usual perps every time.

If something good can be said about the whole thing even being a topic on the show itself is that people might learn how not to interact with each other. Well, it didn't start out this way and was never supposed to be that (for one exception: they had a sensationalist streak in having the whole sextuplets and twins thing going). So I actually just started to watch this year after I heard so much about some mysterious Jon and Kate. So I got a few episodes where everything was just honey and pie.
It has become a lesson (and I have grown curious about how the children will develop) primarily. I do not know about others but you just need to look at all these other reality based shows (talk shows like Murry?? included): each show some sort of dysfunctional theme. Either you can afterward feel smug and 'thank good' that you are not like them or you can take it for what it could be: teach people how not to do it and find a better way of dealing with things, life, people. As for the future or how they (Jon and Kate) will deal with it? Hopefully, they will be responsible adults and raise them properly (unfortunately, that ship has sailed, they seem to be weirdly religious). Even divorced couples can raise their children properly without getting them into disgusting fights that no child needs to experience. It is possible, the parents just need to be adults and not children themselves.
