Keep in mind that if she fraudulently framed her husband for threatening her, that does not mean that her husband did not threaten her before. It is possible that he had threatened her, and she "lost it" when he got away with it, so she decided to frame him to "get justice." Nonetheless, if she framed him she deserves what she gets.

This reminds me of the OJ case. It is probably likely that he killed her, and then the police framed him to ensure a conviction (oops).
