I was actually thinking of HIMYM when watching this. The thing is, Marshall somehow managed to be the breadwinner of the couple, obviously more and better schooling, yet somehow he is a baffoon. He acts like a total child.

Ted is a complete pussy. Which I guess if how out society wants our men now, comepletely void of masculinity.

Barney...well, Barney is hilarious, and the reason I watch the show pretty much. But he's still ridiculously over the top. He's misogynistic, vile, and down right evil at times. He's also the only male on the show that has any masculine traits at all. What's the saying about our society?

The only main character on the show that seems at least mostly normal is Robin. And she's just her own special brand of crazy.

It's a great show, I love it. But it's not outside this sphere of misandry.
