Has anyone else checked out the poll at the bottom of the article? It seems like most people seem to thing she is in the right.

This is one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard of. I've met several members of the Winkler family and I feel so awful for the grandparents of those kids, forced to hand them over to their son's murderer.

She shot her husband in the back with a shotgun. His last words were "Why?" She yanked out the phone so he couldn't call for help and left him to bleed to death. It turned out later she had screwed up the family finances. She then blamed it all on him. Even if everything she said was true, it wouldn't mitigate the murder in the slightest, but most of it probably wasn't true. I never met Matt Winkler, but friends who have said it might be true he could be a little bit of a blowhard, but that's it.

She got what, 12 days in jail and 2 months in a mental health facility and she is free, and now with custody of her kids, and the youngest won't even remember Daddy and will be raised by his murderer. Even his memory will be murdered now. That's so tragic I want to cry.

Remember boys, its a femenazis world out there. If more boys grew a pair, became less metrosexual and turned into men the femenazis of the world would be ignored as another social group that needs counceling.

Downmodded for misleading title.

The fact that she suffered "years of physical and emotional abuse" at his hands adds a real context here that is important but the title implies doesn't exist.
