From one of the comments:

women certainly can be a threat to men. She can be bigger than him (like in this case). He can be unconscious, in which case any strength advantage is moot (also like in this case). She can threaten with weapons, blackmail with false accusations, manipulate emotionally if they’re “friends” or dating even if there is no threat, it is still a violating and disgusting thing to experience. Something doesn’t have to be physically violent or dangerous to be abusive

I'd argue that physical strength is the least important factor when it comes to sexual assault. This is true even when it comes to male-on-female assault. I don't have the stats or sources handy, but blackmail, drugging ("date rape"), coercion, and all sorts of things are way more common than physical force. That's where this warning over "most people know their rapist" comes from.

We may fear violent street assaults because we feel that we're the most vulnerable in that situation. But many people fear social ramifications and bullying as well. We fear threats to our reputation. We fear losing friendships. And we fear going to jail over something we didn't do.

And the later category of fears are far more common and relevant than the former.

Yeah - in a world with guns drugs knives and worse, being strong is really only one factor of many.

Exactly life threatening goes along why into abusive encounters

[–]distalented 70 points71 points72 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

I had a friend in high school who was raped by a woman, she tied his hands behind his back and strapped him to her bed. He thought she was joking initially because she knew he had a gf. But she wanted to show him her newly learned “cuff knot” and that’s when she tied his hands behind his back. She then ripped off his pants, and he told her that was enough and kept asking for her to stop, you can guess where it goes after this. After the event she told him if he told anybody what had happened she would tell everybody including his gf that he raped her, threatened to throw herself down the stairs so it looked like he had beat her first. He was quiet for a year, broke up with his gf and started drinking, he had no control over his own life and was terrified what she would do to his life, after graduating she moved to a different state for college, he then told me what happened, it’s a sad sad story.

Posting this story here, merely commenting on how terrible it is (as other stories in here) will get you banned from some other subs, sometimes "for participating in redpill/incel subreddits", believe it or not.

For some people it's a zero-sum game, like if when you advocate for men's rights when they're violated, somehow it negatively affects advocating for women's rights when those are violated.

It's awful how people who say they fight sexism can be so sexist and unempathetic (is that a word?).

[–]Men-Are-Human[S] 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

That's really horrifying, but a good illustration of how it can be done. If you want me to add it to the site, let me know. Would be interested to hear more about how she tricked him. Is he very agreeable?

[–]distalented 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

They were friends, he knew she had a bit of a thing for him, but it never seemed to be an issue. She was also good friends with his gf, and after school the 3 of them would usually go to her house to smoke pot because she lived the closest and always had a borderline stockpile of it. She was very open about her fetish’s like bdsm, getting tied up, and tying people up. She would practice her knots on people, and just asked if she could practice it on him to show it to him, his girlfriend had work that particular day, and yeah then you know what happened next, at least that’s the way I understand what happened.

[–]Men-Are-Human[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Ah. That makes a lot of sense. Thank you. I'm guessing you're okay with me reprinting the story in that case?

She'll pay...it might not seem like it now, but there is something out there that watches, that knows and sees these truths. The universe knows whats in their hearts and all their dirty laundry...in one life or the next, she, and people like her will pay.....

Me who believes in god: agrees

[–]jadedlonewolf89 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Oh man beliefs and actions can be such wonky things I’m of the opinion that if I’m going to be punished either way then I might as well make it worth my time so if threatened with a rape charge I’ll probably go to jail for murder.

[–]Tanman55555 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You wouldnt

[–]jadedlonewolf89 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would it’s morale prerogative. rape is wrong no matter the situation, killing isn’t. But then I’m also of the opinion that false accusers deserve death.

[–]AnonymousBlobfish 54 points55 points56 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Idk if it counts as assault or harassment but a gay friend of mine told me that in high school, his female comrades would regularly show him their tits even when he didn't want to. It was to embarass and startle him.

At one point they even attempted to make him touch their boobs

[–]dakotasundaybro 28 points29 points30 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Did he report her for sexual harassment? I know a guy who did that to a girl and he got expelled.

[–]AnonymousBlobfish 13 points14 points15 points 4 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

It was a whole pack of girls.. He did not report them. Back then he laughed it off because they were his "friends" and he believed it was normal to tease like that in a friendship.

But recently he told me it made him uncomfortable and really all he wanted was to fit in. He said no, but when he saw they would not listen he would just give up and play along, pretend everything was ok.

[–]General-Ad9818 17 points18 points19 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

I definitely have heard about women who have a fetish for gay dudes, I honestly think it’s the concept of wanting someone you can’t have, but even so, I think it’s pretty creepy how far some women are willing to go. I hope this guy will be okay after his traumatizing experience and gets help.

[–]bastardbeard666 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I’m a 54 year old gay male and as far back as I can recall, I’ve always been sexually harassed by females. In school and the workplace. Sometimes even in nightclubs. I’m not talking being asked out, I mean cornered and groped. Kissed. Licked. Man, you name it. All by females. The last one, was so hard, that I actually get embarrassed by all of what she said and did.

Not sure why women think they can change me.

Recently I went out with a neighbor who I can tell she has the hots for me. But she’s very respectful. During this outing, I told her why I was not a feminist. How many times I’ve been approached and the three times I was raped. Well, one of them was ongoing; it was our live in maid and around the age of 11-12 she would come into my room after bed and wake me up to her blow jobs. This went on for a few years. Another were two GFs that when they heard I was gay I wa invited to their house. Parents are on weekend trip. We had a few drinks and we’ll, I think I was served drinks. Next thing I knew I was naked and they both went down on me and mounted me. The other one was rather violent, I won’t go into it. (I do see a therapist). My neighbor who I shared this with, was appalled and admitted she had no clue women could rape. But that her mind is now changed “for the better”.

To all you bros who have gone through something similar, I hope you’re getting help. It does help. Opening up about this and accepting f our vulnerability will help. We are human

[–]General-Ad9818 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Hey there, I’m sorry to hear that you went through that, that must’ve been really rough. I hope that your doing well and know that were all here for you 🙂

[–]bastardbeard666 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Thanks man. I am doing a lot better. I can actually talk about it now without falling apart. Thanks brother 👊🏽

[–]General-Ad9818 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Lol 😂 I’m actually a girl, but no problem 🙂👊🏼

[–]bastardbeard666 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

My bad. Oops. 🤭

[–]General-Ad9818 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It’s okay 🙂, I get mistaken for a guy sometimes, but I have a sense of humor about it though so I’m not offended 😂

[–]Total-Success2207 80 points81 points82 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The fact that you had to clarify that men are human really shows how twisted the feminist movement is.

[–]The-Great-Deleter 28 points29 points30 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And after all of this, they'll still call us misognysts!

[–]Banake 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I hope that OP meet people who actually respect him. :-)

[–]AcidKritana 31 points32 points33 points 4 years ago (30 children) | Copy Link

[–]raw_bro 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (29 children) | Copy Link

[–]AcidKritana 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (28 children) | Copy Link

In a little. I gotta go somewhere right now.

[–]raw_bro 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (27 children) | Copy Link

Ok gl

[–]AcidKritana 25 points26 points27 points 4 years ago (26 children) | Copy Link

Ok since I am done with the thing now, I can tell you. I'll keep it short and simple. So I was online, and a girl went up to me. She asked if I wanted to have sex with her, I said no. This went on a couple times, and I ended up telling her that I am gay. She then said she could "turn me". After that, it continued on, and then she said that I wasn't a "real man" if I didn't have sex with her. I eventually blocked her, but still. Later, I remembered it and had a panic attack at school, which caused me to need to go home early. I tried to turn to a friend, but he said "fine let her turn you," and blocked me. I told a female feminist, and she said that women don't rape men, and that it was somehow worse to be forcibly penetrated than to be forced to penetrate. An India feminist recently told me, "I mean who would want to rape men?" As if men are so undesirable. I'm glad that the attack was never carried out, but how people reacted was sick.

I was also touched in an inappropriate way by a guy, and when I told a male "Believe All Women" feminist, he called me a rapist and rape apologist, and said that men who claim are "suspicious." I have also had 4 or 5 older women come up to me, all except one wanting to pay me to date me (despite me being 17 and it being illegal across state borders) and one wanting to have sex. All of them were 30 or older, with one being 42.

The attempted rape had also basically ruined my life, at least in some ways.

Well, that's all I have to say.

[–]Men-Are-Human[S] 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Damn, that's freakishly uncomfortable stuff.... They have no right to do that, and it really speaks to how feminists think....

I feel bad even asking, but would you be happy for me to add this to a follow-up article maybe? If not it's perfectly fine, and you don't even need to respond.

[–]AcidKritana 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I've already written an article for you, remember? It just needs to get published. But the Indian feminist one was very recent and you can add that one to it.

[–]Men-Are-Human[S] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Ah, I'm really sorry I haven't quite finished editing it yet - I have a lot of other work at the moment and I've not had time. But I'll be sure to add that in somewhere.

[–]AcidKritana 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I know, and it's fine. That's why I said you could add it. I'll wait as long as I need to, I mean I accidentally made you wait forever, so I can return the favor. Just let me know when you done

[–]Men-Are-Human[S] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I promise I'm not getting revenge or anything XD I just stop work very late lol

[–]Mahameghabahana 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Sorry for your experience my guy. I don't think it can be considered as sexual assault but can be considered as online sexual harassment.

[–]AcidKritana 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

No, the touching by the guy was sexual assault, everything else was sexual harassment as they did not touch me or anything.

[–]Mahameghabahana 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

Ohhhhh.... Sorry I am very sorry I didn't read the last part and commented. Yes that was sexual assult.

[–]AcidKritana 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

It's fine, I misread things all the time. Also, I wrote a lot more than I intended lol

[–]Mahameghabahana 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

It's ok bro. Hope you are ok now.

[–]alclarkey 17 points18 points19 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]McFeely_Smackup 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

I spent many years working in bars, and ANYONE who has knows drunk women are the most sexually entitled people on the planet.

I never saw a man walk to to a woman and grab her crotch, but I've seen women do it to men dozens of times.

Right now there's a gay bar by my office that has a sign on their front door that says "no bachelorette parties". They had to ban them because these groups of women would come in and get drunk and start sexually assaulting every gay man in the place, because they felt 100% entitled to

[–]Men-Are-Human[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wow, that's really crazy. Would you mind if I added that to a later article? And if you have more, I'd be very interested.
