"The Rules" says not to be on the phone, if a guy calls, for more that 10 minutes, or you'll seem too availalble and lose the "mystery" b/C your goal is for him to ask you out, plan a date and make an effort to meet you in person. Pandemic obviously presents new challenges with meting in person. I still make the guy plan ahead the zoom call, send me an invite no later than Wednesday for Sunday call.

My dilemma is what is an appropriate lenght of time to have the call for, 20 mins, 30mins, 40 mins, 60 mins? so that you don;t seem too desperate and hogging time, while at the same time long enough to get to know somebody.

What has the community's expereince been with this? Whats the perfect amount of time for an initial phone or zoom date?
