I know I'm going to sound like a broken record because just about every week someone rolls in here and says we need to do a better job of being left wing or calling out people in the comments who spout poor ideology.
And I can empathize with a lot of the posts lately. You're angry, if you're in the UK then you feel especially vulnerable/targeted, and frankly there's not a lot of empathy for men out there in the first place.
But wow, the amount of shitting on women here really ramped up this week. Like I said, I get it. I've been there. I've felt (and occasionally still do feel) the "red pill rage" that you get when you realize... things are pretty shitty if you're a guy too.
Anyways, back to the post. One of the things I appreciate that r/MensLib does is weekly reoccurring threads. They serve to break up some of the reoccurring posts and recenter the sub on its stated goals.
Call me crazy but I could see the use of some similar reoccurring discussion here to keep things from boiling over or going full echo chamber. It doesn't have to be a "women's appreciation" post - though I wouldn't mind sharing my interactions with actual normal women in my life for a change instead of radical feminists - it could be the opposite where we just have a vent thread where it's understood that people are coming mainly from a place of anger or frustration.
Idk. I'd like to hear your thoughts, if the mods find it worthy. I know you lurk, it's your job!
