When I try to explain to people why I feel shitty about being a dude and especially why I hate dating as a dude, people of either gender look at me like I'm from some kind of alien planet, asif all this shit I'm seeing around me isn't happening. It often makes me feel even more isolated and alone. I'm trying to find/make a relatively comprehensive list of points.
You know, Male gender roles like needing to be the provider,
inequalities like suicide rates, dating inequality, empathy gap, divorce and prison sentence time,
stereotypes and expectations like men needing to be assertive and confident, double standards like not being taken seriously when it comes to sexual assault and victims of violence or male body shaming, etc.
