Just a brief criticism of the piece:

The author treats men and women identically in terms of the 'sexual market'. That is, the author sees that a 45/55 and a 55/45 will have symmetrical effects on either gender. I don't think this is accurate as male sexuality and female sexuality are self evidently different (among other traits and behaviors of the sexes).

I think if socialism becomes more mainstream there will be more a lot more female republicans.
