I know it's difficult to talk to people about 'MRA' sounding things.

I've got an appointment with a new psychiatrist next week and I'm not sure how I'm going to negotiate it.

Anyway, I ended up removing your post, because you mentioned suicide, and the sub can be a bit unforgiving at times. We've had a lot of trolls coming here recently which doesn't help.

Please, before you do anything you cannot take back... read my comment, and others that I'm sure will appear in no time.

Get dating out first: you can't and won't get a (stable) relationship until you pick yourself up. Not in the "be an overly masculine fuck with a perfect life" sense, but in a "love yourself and make peace with yourself" sense. But that is ok, you don't NEED another person to be with you to be your full self. That comes when you already are, so don't worry about it for now.

Besides that, you have made a move in the right direction if your father really is like that - don't give up halfway. Interact as little as you can, see him as little as you can, and move away from that house as soon as you can (granted, this is the hardest one to actually do). My gf used to be in a similar situation with her mother (mother isn't lazy, just expected gf to be a cleaning and parent support machine 24/7 and be absolutely perfect at it, otherwise cursed and yelled). She was an absolute wreck on the verge of killing herself just like you are now. As soon as she met her less and less, and finally moved away, things got better. Maybe you can do this, too.

Do not do anything irreversible in your state of mind. I felt like you and for much the same reasons when I was your age. I am now 60 and think life is wonderful.
