I never saw anybody use term "karen" more or less wrongly. Yeah, sometimes there are kids and young adults who use it just to shut up older women, but in most cases, this is not true.

And I always love when anything that men say badly of women is "sexism"...

I personally don't like the word "Karen" as such because it is a common name for females. I don't dislike the concept of Karen...but we could have definitely gone with some other word. Atleast there were other memes about Karen where they expressed how they like Karen Gillan and disliked the "typical Karens." Some relief for those named Karen out there.
