wow, cool, thanks. had a couple strays coming around for a while, but think i was their 2nd or 3rd option. (both neutered with a clipped ear. must be a lot of cat fanciers in the area.) the main one sent me to the ER a couple of years ago when I trapped him inside, trying to adopt him. just some good bites through the leather work gloves with no problem. had to get him down off the top of some cabinets up near the ceiling. was in a hurry as i was getting ready to head out on a trip. he was the original reason i had to make my cat's door out-only, since he was coming in to munch out.

she was a great old cat of 17 years and now i am solo. amazing creature. always been into them. she was in great shape right until she "headed out". still talk to her all the time. beautiful concentrated (?) long haired calico with the great pantaloons. bit of a mean streak, but then i can be a bit of a dick!

Sweet rescue. Same coloring of my latest batch. Most of my pics are on the other social media site. "Mars; from hole to hope" and "Mel is a good dog" are two of the puppers I've snagged. I was laughing too hard to get pics, but late Winter, I went up my 8' ladder, stretched my 10' home-built pole-snare, and plucked a cat off the streetlight arm.

I've done the TNR with 25 or so (Only $25 for spay, since I got certified), and 4 on Saturday (Petco grant, spay, chip, rabies shot, leukemia test, FREE) kittens I caught under an abandoned car and fattened up. One wasn't likely to make it otherwise. Under 400g and the boys were all in the 700s. She responded well to formula, tuna, and cuddles.

Mine was the final member of a little cat family I rescued, mother and 3 kittens, whom I found at an Indian casino I worked at shortly after coming to N. TX. That was the second cat family I rescued, another shortly before leaving OR. They were all a great pleasure, though the second set was rough, as I got more attached to them. One (dear) kitten was adopted out, and another kitten and the mother were sadly lost. That is the hell of cats - the way they come and go. So far I've resisted the hard-core cat rescuer calling. It's a devil's bargain. Wow, Petco funds all that, or ?? That would be pretty cool all right.
