If you we look how we treat homeless women that are approx 30% of the homeless vs how we treat men who are AT LEAST 30% of the victims of DV it really demonstrates how little society cares about men. Where I live there are 0 beds for male victims of DV despite all the stats showing they are a significant portion of that population and at the same time there are tons of beds for women who are homeless again despite them being approx 30% of the homeless.
