There are a million different ways I could spin this in 30 seconds, which means it's subjective and you should make your own choices. A quick devil's advocate for you:

For hookers: Porn is a form of cuckolding where you are viewing what you want, but can't have it, and often you're watching it get fucked by other men while you jerk your schlong. This is degrading. Not to mention the immediate release is counter-productive and prevents your masculine energy from building up and encouraging you to do things like work hard. Hookers on the other hand cost money, they actually do belong to you temporarily, and you actually do get to fuck them. You still have to work hard, and technically, it's really just a concentrated version of a real relationship. You exchange sex for resources. Just without the illusions.

Against hookers: Hookers don't build your self-confidence as a man, and they are not proof of your social value. It also never really fills the void since it isn't a woman who willingly has sex with you, and thus you are still degrading yourself by implying the only way you could have sex is by paying for it, which makes you inferior to other men who can get sex without paying for it. Not to mention a hooker is an inferior resource in other ways because she is generally illegal, extremely expensive, and unable to offer genuine affection (though arguably non-hooker females are as well). Part of being a man is building your empire and using resources intelligently. Hookers are another form of drug. It's paying for direct access to an addiction instead of earning the high naturally. These are not smart choices.
