Whatsup guys, I’ve been around TRP for 4 years. This sub has changed my life in a lot of different ways. I am always digesting old and new info but for the most part I understand it.

I’ve been wanting to take a trip away from America for a while now to go see what life is like in a different country. For now all I see is that people usually go to Colombia or Thailand or a place where there money can go farther and the women are more feminine.

I am 24 years old and from NYC and have a budget of about 4k. I’ve chosen to go teach English in Thailand and the time to go is soon approaching. I am not getting cold feet about the traveling part, but I am starting to get cold feet about the teaching part. I am not sure if it is worth it. I can go to Thailand for 60-90 days, travel around and rock out alone or I could spend 5 months in one random location teaching kids and traveling around on the weekends. (The company I’m going through can’t promise me I’ll get Bangkok).

For those of you who have been to Thailand, I want to know how long did you go for, were you just on vacation, did you teach English or work? Is it a hard place to navigate around?

I just don’t want to waste my time. I don’t know when I’ll have this opportunity to leave the US for this long amount of time again. I am going to Thailand to learn more about myself, get a new perspective, enjoy what the country has to offer and see how the SEA women are.

If anyone has any suggestions or guidance I really would appreciate it.
