With 2/3 of college students female there is definitely a need for men's issues to be aired on campus. College can be a hostile place for males these days.

This is excellent news!

WhenI was at university 20 years ago we had a student officer (who was female). The student numbers were increasing so we had a debate for a second student officer, this time a man. I assumed it would make a lot of sense to have both men and women in the same role. but apperently not. The universityy voted agasint the idea of a man being a student officer, because it would "undermine the womens movement"

And that was that. men can not participate, because of their gender. SomI am glad this man has achived this position. But it saddens me it took this long, and was this much of a struggle.

This is great. I don't have direct contact with students at the university. Maybe I can whisper in the right ears.

How wonderful would it be if young men had a place to go, take off their male persona, and ask "What the fuck am I supposed to do?"
