Interesting article. Today, feminist try to tie slavery and racism with nonsense concept of "patriarchy". They want to connect "women fight with patriarchy oppression" with anti-racism. It's obviously not reasoned and shows their total insolence (but currently they go even far - they want hijack veganism, when toxic femininity has a role in culture of eating meat - women prefer men who eat meat, study shows). The fact is that many women actively defended slavery. Historical evidence proves that it was common thing that women had slaves - and they commonly were abusing them. Even prominent suffragettes were racists - you can read about it here and here. So how feminists can talk about women oppression when they in masse actively participated in it?

Next article to extent this topic - How white women’s “investment” in slavery has shaped America today. Quite good but unfortunately she tried to associate this issue with male intention to join white women to "patriarchal system" to preserve him. It's obvious nonsense and gaslighting. But it show how "patriarchy" conspiracy theory is corrupted. It's like religious belief. Like with God of a gaps - feminist always redefine terms or use upside-down perspective of reality to prove their nonsense dogma.

Impossible. How can the oppressed(women) have oppressed other people. According to feminism women have been oppressed since the big bang happened.

Which reminds me how some people keep talking about the role of the Christian missionaries in colonialism but they never mention the role of female missionaries.

This is very important to read, as feminists are corrupting the slavery discourse by framing slavery as a thing only men do, just to just attack men period.
