The author of this piece complains that a film, with a female lead, is sexist because people prefer it to the female led 2016 film. She doesnt realise that people hated that film because it wasnt funny, or entertaining, and openly mocked fans. Where as this new one pleases fans, and by most accounts, is fun, interesting, entertaining, well directed, and well acted.

She also gooes on to complain that men decided they wouod not watch the film, not like it, even before seeing it. And they were sexist ffpr doing so. Yet she doesnt like this film, partly because there arent enough women in it (despite the female lead), and she is somehow not sexist.

The film is sexist. IMO

Replacing four men with women? Seems sexist to me.

Some people think that "it's a great thing that women are replacing men". I in fact hate it. It's bigoted and is wrong.

Women can have all their movies and whatever. Stop trying to replace men, because you're a bigot.

Everyone decided they wouldn't watch the film--because it was bad. If it had been a quality movie--with women, it would have been celebrated.

Women didn't go see it either. Because it was hamfisted and unfunny.
