Rewatching The Pursuit of Happyness. Just realised that towards the end he gets refused access to a shelt for being a man... "Women and children only". Luckily he gets access to a men's shelter, so I assume that's true for the real story as well. But fuck... Refusing shelter to a homeless single dad? That's fucking heartless. Last time I watched I was about 10yo, so didn't realise it I suppose.
