Women are wired to prioritize feelings over logic. They are objectively more fearful and neurotic than men when it's tested for on the Big 5 test, for example.

So if you're driven by emotions, and you're not terribly introspective, you're going to want a world that conforms to how you want it. Where you can twist your world to whatever makes you feel good. Subjective 'sciences' allow you to do that.

Since hard science doesn't give a fuck about your feelings (the plane's wings will stay attached or people will die, your feelings are irrelevant), women tend to avoid it.

It all stemms from what their philosophy is based on. A philosophical predecessor of feminism and left-wing philosophy is romanticism. The core essence of romantic philosophy is putting a narrative above truth and verifiable data. This makes it easy to push propaganda, playing on the emotions of the general population and glorifies all actions that support their narrative. Sciences in general have a strong tradition of giving claims the benefit of the doubt, which is extremely beneficial to human advancement, but extremely easy to exploit by bad faith actors, such as feminists and left-wing in general. This in turn is easy to spin a narrative as if the benefit of the doubt is equal to acceptance and credence to swindle support from people and use blackmail and violence to silence the opposition giving a perception of further credence and so on.

By their nature STEM subjects rely on falsifiability and cause and effect to study their subjects, whereas soft subjects like sociology cannot rely on them to the same degree, as it would be unethical to do the necessary experiments. This makes them much more susceptible to bad faith actors and propagandists.

My only solution to this is create and foster education that will push people into understanding that unquestionably following liars and cheaters (every ideology based on romanticism and then some) will always end up to be to their detriment.

Psychology/sociology double-major here. Do you not think human society and behavior can be studied scientifically, or are you just opposed to certain theories in contemporary social science?

Also, the hard sciences have "abstract theories" as well. Actually, that term itself is highly abstract and means very little.

Women are more susceptible to concepts that can be delivered with emotional impact. Women have more connections between he lobes of the brain while men have more within the lobes. This results in women having more access to the emotional intuitive side than men. Because of this women (in general) are more vulnerable to powerful emotional draws through narrative. One of the places this shows up is in that women are far more likely to join cults than men are. Strange but true.
