I have infinitely more respect for her than I do for someone who defends MGM and stands against FGM.

She has a functional brain, and she's using it to make logical conclusions. Conclusions I disagree with, but at least she understands why she believes what she does.

This is an example of a woman being legally discriminated against just for being a woman. She made the choice, as a consenting adult, to have a certain thing done to her body and the state want to override that choice for no other reason than her sex.

It should be obvious that consenting adults should be allowed to do whatever they want to their body, while children should be protected against mutilation regardless of their gender or sex.
